Westside Christmas Sing-A-Long

Today was our Westside Christmas Sing-A-Long!  The noodles did a great job singing our song for the whole school.  Here are a few snapshots of our shining moment!

 And we enjoyed singing some Christmas carols with Mr. Ott!

Gingerbread House Decorating

What a fun way to end our gingerbread unit!  The kids loved decorating their houses and making them look beautiful for their families.  If you peek inside your child's house you may even see the gingerbread baby!  Thank you for sending in the goodies to decorate with!

Gingerbread Fun

We have been enjoying a week full of gingerbread stories and gingerbread fun!  Today we practiced our writing skills with a fun book called, "How to Decorate a Cookie!"  Here are a few photos showing our hard work and are well deserved treat!

Pajama Party!

Our pajama day started off with the story: Goodnight Moon!  Afterwards we practiced rhyming words by sleeping if two words did not rhyme or waking up if they did!

Next, we read The Napping House!  Afterwards, we created our own version of the napping house story to take home and share with our families!

Before heading off to lunch, we prepared a yummy spider snack to eat with our movie!

We even were able to read books with flashlights!

 During math we read a story called: Roll Over!  We then acted the story our with our own math mat and teddy grahams!

Next was pillow fights!
